This is somewhat buried in the other thread.

I have been in communication with Bachmann Industries, and the way parts are being doled out appears to not be the way they want it done.

I do not feel comfortable posting the direct phone number or e-mail, but, if you e-mail me your name and address and any short, non-profane description of the issues you have been encountering with obtaining said parts, I will forward it on, and you WILL get your parts (at least, that's what he said).
I have passed on one or two that needed editing........

Thanks Dave. I sent a FAX in of my original receipt. I hope that will be enough? I didn't know about an email at the time or I would have tried that first. The original posting on the Bachmann site wasn't that helpful. Just said call but wait if you can because we don't have enough for everybody yet. No specifics were provided. It would have been nice to say, email this person with a copy of your receipt or FAX this number with it, but I had to call around and finally spoke with someone that said fax it to a specific number. If this info had been in the original posting it would have saved Bachmann from getting a bunch of calls and it would have been less frustrating for K owners to track down the procedure for sending in a request.

I haven't got a confirmation of any sorts, so if I don't have them by the end of next week I'll assume the FAX didn't work and try the email method.

It's a pity this information wasn't available in time to be included with your review of the K-27 in the latest GR magazine!

Of course I didn't see any mention of the loose counterweight issue there either....did I miss it??  /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/whistling.gif

Yes, it's there.
We had such a list building, they inserted is (along with photos) in the link provided in the review to the Kalmbach website.
Their call to do it that way, and it isn't the first time.
They did it on the 3-truck Shay wiring issue, too.

I think the problem was we were at two full pages whith photos, and to do any of it right, they thought it would be best to put it in the website with photos.
Otherwise, the one review would have taken all available review space in the magazine for that issue.

Initially, I tried, really tried, to get it all in.
But, as the list kept growing (and still is), they are the ones who decided to put it on their site.

Otherwise, it would have been "doors, coupler, class lights, counterweights, smokebox snowlplow brackets" and all that, with absolutely no data.
