I NEED HELP !!!!!

I'am putting a piko western rio grande water tower #62210 together. I have the water tower meaning the top part that holds the water together but now i am having trouble attaching the top part of  the water tower to the bottom part. Are there any suggestion on how to get all of the legs lined up to fit into the holes of the bottom part of the water tower. I keep trying to getting all of the pieces lined up but it's not happening. I keep trying to get them lined up but no matter how load i yell at the s.o.b.s they won't lister. I need help before i break something.
