I recently put a train together for my youngest daughter and she has discovered that having hooks at only one end of the car means they don't always really want to stay coupled. does anybody got some spares in their junk bin that they'd be willing to part with? I need about half a dozen or 8 or so. I need the LGB/Bachmann style ones with the accordian springs. /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/blush.gif

I already tried evilbay, but they have them listed only in pairs with rather rediculous shipping charges. /DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/mls/emoticons/doze.gif

The bachman sprins are very weak and will break. The LGB and USA springs are much better.
Also, the bachman loops tend to shatter, I have had this happen several times. Just use LGB or USA to replace them.
Aristo hook and loops are good also, but will not work well with LGB uncoupling devices.

I have a couple of LGB and a couple of Bachmann. If you still need more send me a note with your address.
