This morning, for the first time ever, a train made several laps around the entire layout!!!

I still have one passing siding on the lower level which is unsupported where it crosses the canyon. I've already begun work on a bridge for it. On the upper level there is another passing siding which has not been connected yet. There are also a couple unifinished spurs.

I hope to have some photos posted this weekend.

It always feels good to finally reach that stage !  Congratulations and happy train-running !

Thanks! It's taken almost two and a half years to get there. The best part is, my dad is visiting from Oregon so he was here to see it run.

Oh, and this evening I ran it in the dark for a while with the headlight on -- very cool!
