Or at least I think that's the saying.

A long while back a bit when I was buildin' and converting all to body mount Kadees, I sold off 98% of my truck mounted 831 couplers.
Well now after the war and all that has past and also the reconstuction of the new layout based on 4 and 5 foot curves, guess what kind of couplers I need to put on my rolling stock ????? Yep, you guessed it, 831 truck mounted couplers
So guess what I'm buying these days, Oh well. It just seems strange that I am having to buy more of the items I once sold. Rocky

Rocky,

Have you tried to modify the body mount couplers.. KaDee's can have the sides cut back so that you get more swing for tighter curves..

Na, just sell off some of the larger mainline equipment that doesn't suit the smaller layout and buy what you want.

Rocky,
I might still have some of the 831s you sold me. Call me if interested.

Body mounted car go thru the curves, they just puke on the 4 foot(Aristo sharp switches) crossovers next to the station and I can't really redesign due to the small area of space next to the rose bushes.

JC, I may just be givin' you a call ;)
