The general tips and techniques transfer across all makes and models. Biggest trouble I have is with engines with the round spring loaded wheel brushes (Lionel especially)... I generally lose one or two (sometimes for good) when I remove the bottom plate and they go flying to the other side of the room-- SPROING!!!
