RE: Galveston RR Museum & Ike

Very fond memories of the Galveston Railroad Museum. It was really a well run facility. I wish them luck in getting back to where the were. I spent part of my life in that part of the World and spent a whole lot of time amazed by the Galveston Hurricane of 1900. The history was every where and intertwined with the anything of age in the city. Most interesting and I certainly feel so sorry for the people down there, now.

It looks pretty messy down there but hopefully there wasn't too much irreplaceable items that were destroyed. One could hope that things like paper documents and rare photographs might have been taken down and stored somewhere safe?
