I wanted to do a low hooded Bachman like that but can't find one now? Any idea on finding a large scale one? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

All you'd have to do would be to shorten the hoods and move the exhaust stacks against the cab and make them taller. It probably wouldn't be too hard.

First step finding the model to kitbash.

As you said shortening the hoods and lengthening the exhaust stacks.

Also filling in the cab and adding to the windows over the hoods.

Anyone have one they aren't gonna use at a decent price? I got a lead on one but the guy is out of work and needs all the coin he can get. Wathcing them on Ebay he figures what was cleared out a year ago at $60 is now worth well over $300. I'm not that rich and can wait if need be.

Oh that's what you meant.

I got mine at the York Train Collectors Association Meet from Trainworld for $75. I don't know where else you could get one for cheap, but I hope it is possible because I'd like some more.
