I updated the Gateway Garden Railroad Club Schedule on the Clubs and Activities portion of the Forums.  I did this by editing and pasting to the topic I had formally started.  I got it edited, but it didn't show up as new activity on the subject.  Is there a way to make this happen?  I feel that nobody will look at the updates to the schedule, because of the date not changing and would really like it to not be a continuously long reply because of doing it another way besides editing.  Can anything be done with this?

Yes it looks like you've located a glitch in the system, the best that I can suggest right now is after you make your edit and post it, the only way to make it new activity is add a reply with just one word say 'bump' or maybe better yet 'Schedule edit/update' that would direct their attention to what they should be looking for.

I see that you made the original post on 01/03/2008 @ 2:58 PM and the edit on 01/27/2008 @ 3:07 PM and it didn't show up on my screen as new activity until I opened the Active Topics range to a setting of 'Last Month'. All I can do is put in a bug report and see what can be done.

Sorry that's the best I can offer right now.

I have found that editing posts does not work in Opera - the window comes up, the text appears to be changed, but pushing the "submit" button does nothing. I can edit fine in Mozilla, however, so if I need to fix a mistake I crank up the old wheezer and it gets the job done. You might try this, if your symptoms sound like mine.
