why is it that USA trains are the only manufacturer that makes really nice locking modern and some steam locomotives and rolling stock I know that Bachmann is coming out with the dash 9 and I think that those will look good but I don't understand why one company make the good stuff why is it that I can get a more detailed model in N scale than I can in G scale

Because Aristo Craft went out of business, but have you looked at AML? Detail and scale equal to USAT Prestige series.

Bachman not into Class 1 railroads (Dash 9 is originally from Aristo, manufacturer is Kader, made stuff for Aristo and owns Bachmann)

The main reason though is volume, N scale much bigger than Large scale in volume.
