If You can not get # 8 or # 10 Switches and are running Big Engines,Leave the Switches out. And if You are using this Track in Florida Use slip rail jointer,If You use the screw on ones The track will buckle,Ask every one that was at My layout last August,it was 95 degrees and the track buckled.I had to cut out a1/4 inch of track to run.
