Our club is the Mason Dixon Large Scale Railroad Society. We have approximately 20 families, average 3 each, total 60 people. Dues are $25/year. We have approximately 7 meeting a year at different member's homes. We got tired of hauling stuff to shows for a 2 day event. The main activity is the Christmas Display for the past 25 years. This year in a very large store. Track is 2 mainlines with approximately 800 feet including the yards. We set it up and had it fully decorated in 2 weeks. Who knows what will be available next year? Here is the website which has been updated this week. /http://www.mdlsrs.com/

I don't even know if there is a club near me, I know there are clubs in the San Fernando Valley, Orange County and the Fairplex guys. But those are a good distance away, as for near me? If there is, its a closely guarded secret.

As it is I don't have much free time these days, not enough to join something like the Fairplex, who require a certain time dedicated to layout maintenance. I barely have time for my micro layouts.
