Greetings Everyone

It has been some time since I have been on the site and have missed it very much.

The Redwood Creek and Tallulah Ridge RR came out of hibernation last night, but not with a few issues...one of which this forum topic is about.

I am running a Bachmann Connie with RC and battery power and have noticed that the front end of the engine moves up and down slightly when in motion. This began after I did the installation of the RC and battery. It is not a constant up and down motion but one that occasionally happens especially upon startup.

I'm not sure if, after reinstalling the gears if something went out of allignment. Last night the engine stopped altogether and would not budge, almost like it got locked up in the gears.

Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting this? I'm not the most mechanically minded, and Dave Goodson helped with the RC and battery install via email and phone.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I'd look at the rods. Are all the axels gear driven? On locos like where all the axels are gear driven, sometimes one axel will get ahead or behind the others and cause this.
