What are you looking for electrically-driven from Aster?
The only British outline models were the GWR King and the A4 Mallard and Sir Nigel Gresley, the A4 being constructed from live steam models by/via Fulgurex.
Further the following electrically driven steam locomotives were made:
Germany: S2/6, Baureihe 01, 03, 44, 62 and 96.
France: Chapelon Nord, 232 U1.
USA: Climax, WM Shay, UP BigBoy, PRR K4, NYC Hudson, Commodore Vanderbilt and SP Daylight.
As far as I know no Japanese loco was available in electric.

And ASTER made some electrically driven steam locomotives commisioned by LGB.

Regards
Fred
Fred, you are a storehouse of knowledge. My goal is to collect all three A4 s. Mallard, Greeley and silver link. Was the ASTER LGB Hudson desirable for a collector. Was it well made. Any major differences with Aster Hudson.

I know about the ASTER Hudson made for LGB that the scale/gauge relation is not correct. Further I do not know anything about ASTERs for LGB.
Regards
Fred
None of the LGB scale/gauge are correct except by accident

The LGB/Aster Huson is 1/29th. I put it next to my 1/29th Hudson and it was an exact match in size.

i have an Aster-Lgb Hudson. Any comparisons to the Aster- only Hudson.
