Anyone know where I can get some replacement rubber hose that the Annie’s use on the trim pieces? One of mine broke and the Bachman parts site doesn’t show it. Someone suggested using shrink tubing but I don’t like the idea of putting a flame so close to plastic. My local auto store doesn’t have anything that small.

Is it possible to use solid brass rods? Many sizes available at hobby shops.
Possibly. But the area is very tight under the cab and I would have to make a small S bend and attach both sides to plastic pipes. I think that is above my skill and tool level. The rubber hose connects two other plastic pieces of trim. One is a cylinder that is under each side of the cab. Perhaps brake air cylinders?

One possibility is to use some vinyl hose they use for air ( vacuum ) powered g gauge switches. It’s really fine stuff but it’s clear so you could paint it black.

...or maybe try a pet store , for aquarium type air lines / hoses ?
