Hi ,
I rarely post here. I want to share my fix, and get feedback if there was a better way.

All rolling stock has steel wheels. most have bearing wheels.

All my rolling stock started to squeak. I separated the squeaky cars then lubed them. Really did not help.
I put on 5 cars from another from another set that did not squeak 3 days earlier. They started to squeak also.

So the only thing i did not lube was the side wheels. The flanges that rub inside track. So this time i only put 2 tiny drops on each flange. Labels 108 lube. Staying clear of main wieght rolling surface. I started with 2 of the 5 cars of this set. Lgb bumble bee passengers. so i lubed all 4 flanges on 2 of the cars. only ran those 2 cars. No squeaks. i added the other 3 cars without lubing. No squeaks.

So my assumption is i fixed the issue, and small lub residue got dispursed through the rest of track. hopeffully just the inner sides.

Should i have just lubed the track inside vertical side.?
All track is lgb 322. The setup is a back and forth 1 turn , 120 ft. of straights.

Me.

If it is the inside flanges maybe you should check the wheel gauge. I try to regauge my rolling stock at least once annually.
