I have been lucky to acquire a few Ks over the years I’ve been in the hobby…so one may yet show up on the 21st. That one was a nice one though—the only one I had with rc installed—i recently ran at Kevin’s layout on Lake Geneva.

It looks like THAT transaction went quickly & smoothly! RioGrandeFan, you'll discover if you haven't already that getting into the smokebox to light that left hand burner can be a bit touchy. Cliff at Accucraft has recommended using one of those piezo-electric (plasma?) candle lighters with a flexible neck.
I have a K-27 & K-28, & love both of them. Both are manually 'burnt-finger' controlled, and I'd be very interested in any drawings or photos you made of your R/C installation.

Thanks for the feedback. Packing an engine well is an ordeal. Fedex almost defeated us this time.

Gary-those piezo lighters are great and yes that’s the tool to get both burners firing.

Sam, thanks very much for those pictures. The back view is fairly self explanatory. The down shot is a little dark -- am I seeing two servos stacked, with the bottom one driving the j-bar and the top one driving the throttle?

You’ve got it. Kevin may be able to take additional pics if needed. My c25 is only one I have Rced right now…i might have to redo a K now that my old 28 is gone.
