There's a guy on Facebook posted pics of his father's locos which he wants to sell, and then messaged me to ask if his prices were in the ballpark.
Here's the photos he posted. 2 cylinder Shay with open cab, and Climax #4:

I believe the Climax is quite rare, though the 2-cylinder Shays pop up regularly. He claims his father ran them once or twice. They certainly look in good shape.
I told him $2,000 was a good price for the Shay, and $3,000 for the Climax. Anyone think I am way out of the ballpark?
(P.S. I am not selling them; just asking for help for him.)
