Harvey its a double post (cave man trick) 2:1 downgeared,2cyl.Wilesco marine engine ,boiler is a Ralph reppingen product(D) with an ceramic burner(cheddar) good and slow puller,needs finishing !

Thanks for the details. One last question, what are the knobs on the valve chests? Don't think I've ever seen a control knob there before.

yeep,dave and some moore haven't oiled the portable track for a while.
The knobs on the valve chests are oiler cups(not needed on this engine i installed a accucraft oiler!
