i decided to pause my milwaukee road ep-2 project and focus on a more practical and less mechanically complicated project that being making an A scale (1/29th) lima hamilton switcher that will use USA trains NW-2 motor blocks and be equipt with a water based smoke unit and bluetooth control but to start just a simple DC system added features as i go

here is the current progress

I printed the sw1500 in PLA
What are you planning to use and do you want to use it outside?

I used PLA expecting full well to have to redo stuff here and there.
The slicer can be finicky with that chassis and those stairs.
My two printers competed for a few days but now I dont print on anything but my Prusa with their slicer.
I found that the PLA chassis sags even at room temp unless you glue the top to it.
Good luck printing.

change of plans im thinking im actually going to make the shell out of PLA since it doesn't get that hot here and my dads yard (where im building my garden railroad) is quite shady anyway PLA has better dimensional accuracy
