Had to bump this up off of our group post. Posted in wrong place. lol.

Just long time doing some update with our group.

We are rebuilding and updating the R.R. for our tour time of July 13th 2016.
Its been a big hall trying to get things done in time.

Had to re-seal the Koi pond that took two weeks to get done, and another week to prep it for the fish. Then 2 large Turtles moved in from the back pond that had to be fetch to another area.

Seem like when on a open house that where you find a lot of problems you didn't know about. Lots of repair and rebuild a tunnel. Also had to move the large water wheel out to miss the tunnel behind it. Had to use a com-along to get that done. And ya ... some more wiring to be done.

Anyway... the yard and R.R. is coming together with the help of our small train R.R. group and SVGRS club.

We are going to try something difference by going on our Live Internet Channel ( http://original.livestream.com/noelw/?rt=1&ra=721089 ) with live cam and Club video off and on thru out 10am to 10 pm ant night.
Ben Shell helped us get in another router and more cables to get the cam in most areas.

The Nat. Steam Up also start on that day. It should be a interesting day.

Here is a short clip of testing a couple of Eng.s

Our day in Rio Linda, Ca.

Well our time with the 32nd Garden R.R. tour came July 13th. 2016 and what a lot of people. At one time the Parking lot was full next door. It was hard to get any photos due to lots of people sometimes.
Here is our two animated signs.

Some photos around the layout before people arrived.

Pennut didn't care what went on.. This was her space.

Can you guess who this guy is in the yellow ****? He came early and he is trying to hit all of the open house.

It's Mikey R. " W0W ..What a guy !! "

Here is some photos that Ben Shell took on our night runs.

Thanks Michael G.
Russ Miller told us to try to keep it in the theme of the layout so we just ran all Steam Eng's instead of Diesels.
I think we had 13 Eng's. out on the tour.
Here is one of yours at one of the turntables that Ben Shell took.

Only thing that didn't do well was all of the people on the live internet channel and visitors ask what happen to the host and oper. that had no TourT- shirts as most of the touring layout had. Just had to tell them they lost our order that we put in twice on difference times. We just got left out in the Boom docks .. ha ha ha..
Other than that, it was good times for all and not to sure we will ever do another one with all of the work it intails...
