I'm looking for advice on what points to use where on my layout. My primary equipment will be 1:20.3 narrow gauge stuff. Eventually a K-37 with some J&S coaches. But I want to accommodate every possibility in case I have guests or my interests expand, say a big boy or really long coaches.

So I have fallen down the rabbit hole of model train DCC systems for my upcoming layout construction. I will share with you what I have come across, and believe I can make work OUTDOORS for Block Occupancy Detection.
So to start, I am going to be running my trains battery power and controlled...
In order to still fit my truck in the garage, and have a 4 foot radius oval in the back, I needed to make the straight section away from the wall lift high enough for the hood to pass underneath.
The oval with the 13 foot clear span was completed back in the beginning of September.

First of all, I want to extend my deepest appreciation to the members of this site. Almost everything I've done was learned directly from myLargeScale.com, or at least inspired by it. This...
For sale are two electric LGB switches, both with broken ties by switch motor control rods. A couple of the control arms for the switches are broken where connections are made to the switch motor on one part of the slip switch.
All rail [points, frogs, etc.] is complete for both switches as can...
