Three years ago I tore up the RR and sold it all off. A year after that I started to rebuild it. Two years later (today) I've decide to chuck it all in. I have fun with it but it was more fun building it than having it. If you live around here or know someone who does and want to come and get stuff for a price of course let them know.

I'm fine by the way ( thanks for asking ;) ) This just doesn't do it for me anymore. I'll keep something to run at a friends place near by. Got some good deals....come on down ;)

Boston is definitely East of here than also!!

Must be in Mass., I think!!!

Hope you enjoy your new choices in life Larry!!

Or,... learn to "'improve'' what you have so you might stay interested in modeling trains, I mean - we all get tired now and then, but no sense kick'n the can down the road over it!! Just wait a while!!!
Add something new, rebuild a building better than it is, add a yard!! Buy more land and build a larger layout!!! There's always room for each of us to improve our skills!!!

Dirk - DMS Ry., ... come out West young man!! I have lots to build!!

Larry,
It sounds like you do enjoy the hobby, then burnout on it. After taking a break you get intreast again. Why not just pack it up and away for awhile until the bug bites again ??? With prices always going up, up, up and availibility getting scarcer and scarcer, it might be a good idea to pack it up and take another break rather than sell it off and start over again. It will cost you more in the long run to sell now and buy later to replace. I did this when I lost the right to have a layout. I packed it up knowing someday I will be able to build at my own place far away from the condos. It took 6 years, but I'm back at it again. This time indoors. BUT I think it might be a good idea to pack it away for now and when you get the itch to play again, you still have the trains to pull out and build again. Think about it for awhile then deceide weather to sell or pack away to build another day.
