Hi all, I have not posted much on this site before and I'm not sure that this is the place to do so. I would love to hear some opinions on which is the best way to sell off my outdoor layout? The kids have grown and I just don't have the same interest as I once did. In fact I never even had the train outside once this year. Thank You in advance for any advice, Russ

As you are not a 1st Class member here, you can't access the Classifieds, and since you are selling off, I don't see you having any interest in 1st Class membership.

That leaves eBay for posting things here. It is legal here to post links to eBay items you have for sale.

In Canada, a common practice is to rent a few tables at a Model Train Show. It will cost you a day of your time and the rental fee but you stand a better chance of selling off everything. You will also avoid the Evilbay hassle and shipping. You would also use Craigslist or Kijiji to advertise where you will be and what you have to offer. Regards, Dennis.
