So this weekend I was able to make a run up to St. George, UT for the local clubs open house. Saw some really nice layouts. Got lots of pictures to upload below. will separate the layouts in comments. Enjoy😁

Here is a video of the water powered Rock Crusher in action that Tim Fitch built. Hope you all enjoyed the pictures I uploaded from St George. Thanks to the members for opening up their homes and allowing us to view their layouts

All those are really nice.
These really show how important the sceneary is. I need to start putting together a plan for houses and towns in my wife's rose planter.

I just love the cute small wooden mining cars.

Oh my gosh a working stamp mill. !!!

I guess his next expansion build will be a working arrastra.

And thank you for sharing all these pictures. I have been watching a few, ok a lot, of youtube videos but these pictures show so us what the experts do.

Me.

Thanks Mark.
Yeah, it was definitely worth taking the drive up there from Las Vegas this past weekend. I saw a lot of nice things and wish I had gotten some more photos of the total layouts, but I was having fun trying to capture them in scenes.
I too need to start thinking about more buildings for the future layout. I had originally wanted more garden in the layout than scaled models, and just have the saw mill and a bunch of logging camps. I might do a small town now. I've seen online, people make some amazing pieces of work from PVC sheets. I want to try my hands at it. lol
