Thank you to all who submitted their photos for consideration.  It's always a tough task to narrow the photos down to just 13.   This calendar has become a great tradition here at myLargescale.com.  This is the 6th year we've done the calendar.  I've always striven for a high quality calendar that featured photographs of large scale trains that were taken by our members, not myself or some professional photographer.  You'll find no advertising in the calendar, no bright obnoxious colors.  Just beautiful photographs of trains.

Unfortunately I was really late in getting the calendar done this year.  I've been very busy with work and family responsibilities.   I need everyone who wants to order a calendar to do so before Thanksgiving, next Thursday, so I can get a final count on how many I need and finalize the order with the printer.  Because of the shorter time frame this year, you MUST choose the priority mail delivery option if you want your order by Christmas.  I will not be able to guarantee their arrival in time if you choose economy shipping.

Also, I wanted to share with you a small update on our friend Karsen.  He's been doing remarkably well.  Just this last week, he was fitted for his prosthesis and began walking all around with a walker and even trying to walk around without it.  Karsen's parents asked me to pass along their sincerest gratitude for all the help that you gave them.

myLargescale.com is the finest place on the internet for G Scale Model Trains.  Large scale trains from manufacturers such as LGB, Aristocraft, USA Trains, and Bachmann among others are showing up in backyards and basements, on garden railways and railroads all over the world.  Commonly known as 'G gauge', 'G scale' or 'F scale' trains,  these trains come in several scales that include (but are not limited to) 1:20.3, 1:22.5, 1:24, 1:29, and 1:32.

myLargescale.com offers many ways to enjoy, share and learn more about the hobby of Large Scale Trains.
