| 7/8ths scaler, Jim Massfeller has built a really nice gauge one version that he takes around to train shows (I did the figures). If you want I can supply his email address. |

Bill, I don't know about a largescale version but Pride Lines offered Toonerville Trolleys in O and Standard gauge. Pride Lines has offered many reissues and variations of classic trains from Lionel, American Flyer, Ives as well as other toys. I'm not even sure if they are still in business but you could do a search for them. Steve |

I recently sold a Standard Gauge tinplate "Toonerville Trolley" made by Rich-Art. They may still offer them, but I'm not at all sure. Not Large Scale, but awfully darn close.
I don't know of any "Toonerville" made in Large Scale. |

Go for it, Bill, but you'll have trouble getting one in RhB colors.:)

Mark, I'm sure that my RhB friends will bless the the purchase. Since RhB never had one I can't get in trouble for having it painted in the wrong color. Heck if I'm lucky I might even pass it off as an engineering sample that the Southpark & Dogbark's evaluating future a future prototypical fleet. Bill Hewitt |

Bill, Paint and letter it for RHB. It's your railroad, run it as you please. You never know but the RHB could have acquired one as a kids ride! Question will my newly acquired RHB baggage car go with my Alpine Express baggage car, my Continental Classic set and add-on Salon cars or will the RHB purists rise up in mortal rage over the consist. Then again will it go with my B&O diesels and passenger cars? My Pennsy or NYC passenger set? Can I pull it with an Olomana engine or should I use an Aristo Mallet lettered for the N&W? I'll ask the question in the European Models group as well. Never mind I'll run them they I want. It's my RR. LAO |

Larry, You forgot to work in a Fortuna Flyer, Surfin Snoopy , Ernie Bay's Flyin Moose and a Mars Flyer. They all ran in the Alps. I know its true because Jack and John have done it on the Inner City Loop. Bill Hewitt |

When I first opened my shop in Carrollton, TX a customer came in with a Toonerville Trolley he had purchased at some kind of yard sale (as I remember). It was gorgeous, stamped steel, brass wheels all geared together, perhaps chain drive front to rear. Each wheel was drilled off center, this meant that the trolley bobbed around, the wheels never left the track, but it looked like it was going to fall off of the track, but it never did. Quiet and very well engineered. Paint was perfect. Haven't seem one since or even a picture. Oh, he paid $100.00 for it.
