First of all I have to say that it was a great idea to start a forum on Figures and Accessories...Thanks!
Here is my first (and only so far) attempt at a little clay figure for Cougar Rock Rail, his name is Rocky. He was made with Sculpey, and his little pick is brass with a wood handle pressed on over the brass shaft. He hangs from his pick line vertically, like Batman and Robin used to do on the TV series for those that remember! I figured that others may want to make a little mountain climber too since so many of us have rock along our lines. He can be seen climbing my quarry face, with the local Cougar waiting for him at the top!
He's actually hanging from the dishwasher in the first picture.
use a photo editor and rotate the first picture 90 degrees to the left and re-save it!! Looks great. I've tried several that ended up looking like the elephant man! i just can't get the head and face right.

Very nice job-I see a lot of great detail in the face.

Great looking figure. Are you sure you weren't working in the shadows at Chris Walas' class? Excellent character in the face. That isn't easy to do. Well done!

Thanks for the comments, guys. The only tool I used (other than my hands of course) was a round toothpick. I found it very useful.

Nice work, Keith. I've been looking for mountain climbers to emulate. I've got a few pounds of Sculpey that I've been wanting to play around with. this will give me some good ideas.
Thanks mark

The Cougar, you want to see Cougie? OK, I'll take a picture when I can. I've been off work all week (and MLS, unfortunately) but I've been expanding the railroad and building a huge mountain for Rocky to climb. I've got a lot of catching up to do!
