Paint scheme and decals for a 4-4-0

As mentioned in the Introduction, I am planning to paint the loco green in a scheme inspired by the William Mason as it exists today. However, I think the tender lettering will be a little bit fancier. I am thinking that I will have budgundy letters with gold outlines. I am still waiting to hear back from Jeff if that is possible or not.

I have contracted with Shawmut Car Shops to do the decal work. I decided that this locomotive will not be lettered for the Millersvillanova Railroad, but for a yet unnamed railroad who's initials are "G.R." thus the lettering on the tender will read "G.R.R.R" which is fitting seeing as this loco is being named after a dog. Jeff is also going to take a photo I sent of Lucia and make it in to a decal for the headlight.

I am soliciting ideas for what "G.R." could stand for. Have to make a poll, I guess.

I have done a quick edit for paint schemes. See below:
1:

2: That'd be a Russia Iron boiler, but I couldn't get the colors just right...

3: Similar to #1, but with red wheels.

4: Similar to #1, but with green rimmed drivers and black counterweights

Update!
Due to the overwhelming responses on the Poll I posted about these schemes, I reworked the second one. Upon further review, I think the black wheels have pinstriping already on them. As such, I think it would be wise to leave them alone and focus on painting the boiler, cab, and tender tank. I also changed the lettering on the tender to all gold, instead of burgundy with gold outlining.

Here's a revised scheme that is a little more subdued:

Hi Mark,

Make sure the your letters have a white backing to them; before the burgundy (maroon!) is added, that color is as bad as red for being thin, without the white backing it is likely to be no good and will not display as maroon. It should be possible to get a gold outline quite easily - check if it is metallic or gold color and NOT a metallic finish. Depends what you want.

The headlight can also have tiny decals around the front lens, and above it as well.

Fianlly varnish down the decals to preserve/protect them. IF they are waterslide I also varnish them before fitting them again fro protection, and to add some strength to them, add some spares they are generally needed!

Yours Peter.
