| Guys,
I flipped my MLS calendar today, and the photo is Bob Whipple's Aristo Reading Mikado. Timely is the word. We're getting ready to ride the Reading and Northern's Jim Thorpe to Pittston excursion through the Lehigh Gorge this weekend behind R&N's 425. The 425 is painted up blue and graphite, kind of like the CNJ Blue Comet, but not quite as big a pacific. It is my second 'all day' excurision. The first was also on the R&N, in the fall of 1994 behind diesels. This will be the first time for us behind steam. Hopefully, the weather is not as predicted (rain and high winds).

| | Speaking of calendar photos, I'm working on compiling next year's calendar. If you have a photo you'd like me to consider, please send it in. | | Shad Pulley Webmaster www.mylargescale.com
