Can anyone tell me what types of locomotives were used in the 1964 movie "The Train" with Burt Lancaster?

If you ever see that movie on TURNER CLASIC MOVIES watch it. Robert Osborn gives great inside into the making of that moive.
He explains things at the begining and end of the movie.

I am a big fan of Turner Classic Movies, but have not seen "The Train" there. If I see this movie scheduled I will be sure to watch it.

I did get my DVD of the movie recently from the TCM movies store. By the way, I also got my DVD of "The Titfield Thunderbolt" from the TCM movie store.

The Thunderbolt movie was one of the motivations for me attempting to assemble the Aster kit.
