A (usually) minor issue with the new forums is that some arrive sized for an ultra-wide display.

Like this one:
Public Forum / Topic: really great source for images

I now that a wide (= oversize) photo will force the righthand margin of the message to whatever width it needs, and I also noted that a long URL has the same affect [probably the one above will cause the same thing?] But I see no wide photos or URLs in that thread.

(long URL edited to short form, SteveC mod.)

Hi Pete,

The post above has been changed, I was aware of it, and had set in motion changes.

It was an oversight as they were direct links, and the size had been overlooked.

Those changes have been done, Your post is still valid as it has applied to others as well.

Peter Bunce.
my website is part of my daughters website at www.musiccorner.co.uk', under the G scale sections on the left hand side.

Peter,

I'm guessing the changes made the pics smaller. But didn't change the overall width of the page?

The problem was Ron's quoting of a previous post. The carriage returns/line feeds were dropped, forcing everything onto one line. I fixed it.

Dwight

You might want to fix lownote's signature URL that is also causing part of the problem being on the same line as the graphic.
