Hi Garrett, 20 years makes a big difference. With todays prices, you still have to take a 2nd mortgage to buy a year's supply. It's getting pretty bad in the Northeast. Somebody is making money on us!! Tom

Holy Crap!!! $1000/mo to heat your home!!! Glad I moved to Michigan (at least when it comes to heating) 2000 sq/ft home and biggest gas bill this winter was $160 in february. I will personally be stashing the money away as a hedge against my wife's impending layoff. if she doesn't find a job at least it buys me another month of mortgage. (sigh) Mark

I bought a Bachmann K27 at the NGRC with my "return". St Aubins Junction was selling them for $630...too good a deal to pass up...so I didn't.

I got stimulated today!! It arrived in my bank acct. only to my surprise it was half of what was expected, says on website if married filing jointly expect $1200 I got 1/2 that. Not wanting to complain unless informed about it i called the IRS waited on the phone line for over 20 minutes to get a simple answere to my question. When the person (a lady which could be debatable) answered i said "Mam courtesley i just need a real quick question answered" The reply was "yeah thats what they all say" I told her i really didnt wait 20 minutes on the phone to get someone as rude as you are, i just need this question answered. She told me she couldnt answere and to go back where i had already been, (didnt want to put in a 4 page questionaire on my last tax form i submitted, but i ended up having to, and it came out to be 1/2 of what i expected. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez I thought i was going to be able to buy two tanks of gas, and now i will only be able to get one!! Well i guess we should be thankful to get anything at all, i mean after all it bought groceries for about 3 weeks, and nothing else i don't know if i helped stimulate the economy or not but i guess the long and short of it since the gov't has messed me over since oct last year at least i got to eat another 3 weeks or so. Praise the IRS and pass the ammunition

Well i guess we should be thankful to get anything at all,... be thankfull for getting some of YOUR money back?? i allways manage to pay so little, that i have to pay up a rest in feruary. that way I (not them) am using MY money during the year.

My stimulus got here but it dang sure didnt go to train stuff , it Stimulated some of my bills for an early pay off which inturn stimulated me lol
