| Hi all
Just a note to say that the ultimate garden railway, the historic Stapleford Miniature railway at Stapleford Park near melton Mowbray Leics England LE14 2SF will be running for the second time this year over sunday and BH monday 24th 25th August 2008. There will be at least five 1/5th live steam locos in operation on the nearly 2 mile 10 1.4" line through he scenic parkland including replica of Box Tunnel. Also of interest on here, IG steam will be exhibiting their range of LGB and others G scale radio control live steam and electric stock and accessories with working demos. Also 00 and N gauge suppliers attending. The event is supporting charity and also features miniature steam traction engines and rollers, vintage vehicles, craft and trade stalls, model tent, and hot and cold catering with local Rutlands grainstore real ale bar.
Weekend camping available (bar and food open at night) £15 for whole weekend incl admission for whole family both days.
