I've received several off line emails asking where the tram video is.

It's here:    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_e7hR1yEQY

A man in Scotland asked me what the motive power for my tram is.

Bob, the motive power is an Osmotor (2 opposed oscilating cylinders) mounted behind the boiler, just above the large gear you can see from the left side.

The Osmotor has  several reduction gears before the chains, which also reduce the motor speed and give it ample power. I purchased the Osmotor while at Diamondhead and do not know its origin, but it has several characteristics similar to a Colin Binnie Steam Motor. Pictures of some of Colin's whimsical locomotives and trams that use this innovation can be seen on his web site at: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/mdltrly/moira.html
