I know there has been a lot of discussion over the past year on air travel with LS locomotives. I'm going to find alternative way to get our two locomotives to Diamond Head. Are there any folks who will driving or live nearby, who has room and would be willing to take possession and deliver to DH? Seeing this is our first big steam up, I'm curious to know how people make sure they have trains to play with.

My wife has her luggage sent to hotel thru Fedex. They pick it up at our house and the hotel will hold it until she arrives to claim it.........Jim

I have been sending my trains to DH for years using UPS. I send them in my name, C/O the hotel and they are waiting for me the day I arrive ( because I time it that way!) Jerry Reshew also offers to have you send them to his house and he will bring them over to the hotel if you want to ship them well in advance. Never had any damage.
