| Charles: Have you figured out how to include photos in messages? I see the "add photo" seems to have disappeared from the create message page. I did notice that Ryan added a photo to one of his messages today....maybe he could help the rest of us understand how to do it under the new scheme? Regards, Cliff | | | |

| Cliff, Use this: {img} paste the photo URL here like before {/img} However you must use this [ type of bracket not { if you use the correct brackets with out a photo URL it does not know what to do because you are giving it a executable cammand with nothing to execute, I think Jeff | | | |

| tom, try using the *<* and */>* symbols to do your url. Different forums read different formats.

| | hmmm...that's odd, works when you post it in the body of the message, but not the signature of the poster. Bug perhaps? | | -ryan SA #1361 | |

| Sigs use standard HTML, not forum code. It's a little buggy and I've had to f*rt around with mine a little. Tom sent me an email and I sent him the html to do hat he wants. If anyone has a similar problem, send me an EMAIL (NOT a PM as I can't include te code in a PM), and I'll do what I can to help you out. | |

| Is there any way to delete posts/replies?? On my view, there are five icons at the top-right of each post... Delete, Edit, Quote, Reply, Alert. I suspect I can see them on every post since I'm a mod, but you should see the Delete and Edit at the top of your own posts, right? | |

| Dwight I do not see "delete" command on the top right of posts and have asked about the ability to do so as have others. | |

| Thanks for the command info Jeff....under the previous scheme I had relied on the "insert photo" button on the toolbar. It would be nice to see that button return under the new site...as well as the "center" button...sure made things easy for posting a topic. Cliff | | | |

| It would be nice to see that button return under the new site That's already in the suggestion box. as well as the "center" button...sure made things easy for posting a topic. There is a "center" button on the main Reply page (not the Quick Reply), as well as left-justify, right-justify, bold, underline, italics, font selection, font color, insert hyperlink, and a host of other things. These formatting buttons all work just as in MS Word or your favorite word processor... highlight the text you wish to change, then click the appropriate button, and PRESTO - your highlighted text changes. I encourage all of you to play around with it a little by starting a thread in the Forum Bugs and Testing forum. I think ultimately you'll find it a lot easier! I'm still discovering cool new stuff almost hourly. | |
