When running this engine for the first few times be careful not to have the gas turned up to far as you will start to melt the soldered joins on the steam pipe and the light housing. Accucraft put to large a jet in the engine.
Being new to live steam and not realizing if you have the gas turned up to far you have a Really Good Blow Torch. I only realized something was not right when my track started to melt. Replace the jet with a smaller one and you wont have the problem occurring agian. It would be good if Accucraft said in the poor excuse for a manual of what may happen if the gas is up to high. Anyway I've had the steam pipe and light housing fixed and some other mods done and its great thanks to Argyle Works.
Nice Loco. Poor information supplied.
