| | Also at the ECLSTS, Aha Ho from Accucraft (General Manager) showed some of the design changes to increase the run times in the upcomming 4-4-0. They have added a larger gas tank, and to allow for a bigger water bath, the side tanks bottoms have opening into the center coal area where the gas tank sits, allowing water to fill the tender filly, not just in the center area. It looks like they have added a drain to allow you to get the water out. She also showed some pictures of the Col. Boone version. In a word, "stunning" with all the fancy artwork that has been added. Looks really good. I believe the delivery date is looking to be early summer, can't quite remember the exact date, but it is soon. | |
