Had a good run today in 43°F weather as my K-27 made its first passenger run.

You can see the run at:

Carl,

Very nice. I like the marker lights you added to the last passenger coach.

Carl,

That was a great video. I would love to see more of your cab detail, esp that gear and chain for the fire. Do you have a previous thread that exploains the work you've done?

Cape Cod,
No, there is no earlier thread. I can send you some pictures and explanation of the cab detail off line if you contact me by email. The chain drive for the throttle was on it when I bought the locomotive used, but I've since modified it and done a lot of other things to it and the servos.

Bob Weltyk,
Sorry, but I should have added 'Whistle' to the credits and tell viewers it's a 'Two chime, chassis mount from Weltyk's Whistles.'

Hi Kent,

Here's the thread from the archive that I followed when putting a servo chain drive on my K28.     http://archive.mylargescale.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=42860&SearchTerms=k-28

I subsequently bought gears and chain and fitted my loco out.  It really does seem to be the best way to control the throttle.
