I understand those things just whooshed down the track.

Film must have been made in the early 50's?

One king held the myrrh,
One king held the purest gold,
One King held the hope of the world.

Thanks!

Question: when they took on fuel and water, what was the fuel used for?

I love the "art deco" look of the GG1.  It is the most handsome electric to ever run.  It is sad none of these survived other than static display

Thanks for putting this up

Stan,

The fuel was used for the steam boiler that supplied heat for the passenger cars. The GG1 is my favorite, I hope Aristo gets around to making their version someday.

Thanks Chris. I had assumed they could have used electricity for heat, but I suppose the passenger cars had to be used with all types of locos.
