Over the weekend I had some fun by operating a 30 car train over the railroad.  As common on the D&RGW, I used 3 K27s, one on the point, a mid train helper and another helper on the rear.

 

I posted a video of the train on youtube of the train climbing a long 3% grade.

 

 

When we double or tripple head on the railroad we try to use prototypical whistle signals. It adds to the realism and is a lot more fun.
