awile back I unplated some brass chain I bought at a craft store.
Has anyone done this using safer stuff like white vinegar and a
small battery? Is it true that in theory u should be able to get the plating to leave the chain and attached to the other lead if the polarity is correct? But i would like to not use strong acids.

To usa a plating process to remove the plating from something, I believe the liquid needs to be a salt of the metal to be plated/unplated.
