It's been awhile since I posted anything on the site and I can't remember how to post pictures. I can't bring up the file in the beginners forum about picture posting. Please help!

You need the ability to post to some web server. If you don't have one, MLS can provide one for $25 a year, which isn't a bad deal for web hosting. You upload your photos, please keep to 640px wide at the most, and the photo gains a "url" like http://www.outsidetrains.com/trainsmiley.gif

Now, you just post a message containing that url inside img tags like this:

{img}http://www.outsidetrains.com/trainsmiley.gif{/img}

Only you use [ ] instead of {} so you get this:

Some of the free photo posting sites can work this way. I haven't fiddled with them since I've always had web servers at my disposal.

"If Christianity was something we were making up, of course we could make it easier. But it is not. We cannot compete, in simplicity with people who are inventing religions. How could we? We are dealing with Fact. Of course anyone can be simple if he has no facts to bother about."-- C. S. Lewis

Torby,

I already have the pictures save to my web space. There used to be a file in this section, telling people how to post pictures. When I look in the archives, this file doesn't open.

You simply need to enclose the URL of the photo inside the img tags as in Tom's example.
