I admit to being to being computer challenged. I cannot figure out how to insert a line of text, surrounded by that box, from a previous post. Such as going on now with Pete Thornton's post on his EBT #12.

There's two ways to do it Larry.  One is to click "Quote" in the upper-right corner of the post you wish to quote.  That will open an "Add Reply" window with the entire previous post already inserted.  It's a little tricky to make sure you're at the bottom of the quoted text before you start typing.  Just click far down in the text box and punch the down-arrow key a few times until the cursor won't go down any further.

This is the second way to do it - highlight the text you wish to quote in a post and then click the "Quote" button atop the quick reply box at the bottom of the page. The highlighted text will be inserted in the Quick Reply box sandwiched between the old-style UBB quote tags.

That's my usual way - and you can do it more than once. It gets just the text you want. Then, if there are photos or links to add, I 'edit' the post afterwards.

Thanks, guys. Tried the "easy" way; will now try the "boxed" way.
