Well after a hurrican in early sept and loosing power for 7 days and a week after that a tropical storm.  breaking aug and sept rainfall records.  Then an oct snowstorm that dumped over a foot of snow and loosing power for two days I finally got the layout cleared and dried out. It helps that im not battleing the leaves anymore.  Fall has to be my faverite time of the year for everything but running trains ?#&^ leaves:)
I spent the last few nice days getting the layout cleaned and today got to relaxe and run trains.

I love the colors the rhododendrons gets.

Logging spur is looking good with just rails showing.  Looking out towards the Kittatinny Ridge.

Looks great! Your railroad blends in very nicely. How old is it? You could always plant some hedges buy the driveway to block view of the sheds.

Thanks Randy.  The RR is about 4 years old now.

Yes Shawn, you've done a great job.  I really like the looks of your railroad.  It's obvious that you have an eye for creating photogenic scenes.

Thanks everyone.

Pete the flatcars ar Hartland.  I got them at wholesale for $19 each and a few years back I some for $14 each.  I just repaint the flats, throw some boards on top, and weather them.  They are great flats and built sturdy.  http://www.wholesaletrains.com/Deta...=200411993

I did a few videos.  Thats one thing I  need to do more of is videos.

Shawn That is a great looking layout you have too!

Did I see an old LGB forney in some of the photos? I have one too with many miles on it. I wore the pickup skates to nothing and just took them off. (I run battery)

Eric Thanks.  Thats an LGB Forney.  Its a great engine and fits perfect with my logging railroad.  I plan on converting it to battery as well.

Subject:
The body work was hard to take apart on my ca1992 vintage engine and it took some clever work with a soldering iron  and hobby knife to wire in the battery, I hope the new ones are easier.  I used NICAD/NiMH batteries in a milk car with simple switches for speed and direction.  If you use lithium batteries you can probably get them into the tender tank, perhaps a radio control board too!  good luck an let us know how you make out!
